AI Podcast - Trillium Health Resources
Overview
The organization needed a faster and more consistent way to deliver weekly updates covering HR changes, operational adjustments, program updates, and policy clarifications. Traditional training processes couldn’t keep pace with the frequency and volume of information being released. I implemented an AI-assisted workflow using NotebookLM to create short, just-in-time training pieces—often in both written and “podcast-style” audio formats—that helped staff absorb updates quickly and accurately.
Challenges
Updates arrived from multiple departments with different writing styles and priorities
Staff needed clarity quickly to avoid misalignment and workflow disruptions
Leadership wanted weekly communication consistency without overloading inboxes
Traditional course-building was too slow for the pace of changes
Information noise (email clutter, duplicate messages) made it easy for learners to miss key updates
Needed a solution that respected time, improved understanding, and standardized messaging
Approach
I established a rapid content pipeline powered by NotebookLM and human editorial oversight. Each week, I gathered raw updates from HR, operations, and program leadership, then used AI to:
Summarize and reorganize content into a clear, learner-friendly structure
Produce short written microlearning modules (2–5 minute reads)
Generate “audio overview” versions for on-the-go listening
Extract FAQs, definitions, and changes-in-plain-language
Maintain a consistent tone across departments
I created branded microlearning templates and simple visual layouts to reduce cognitive load. All content was reviewed with SMEs for accuracy before distribution.
Over time, this became a predictable, efficient rhythm:
input → refine → approve → publish → track engagement.
